We\u2019ve spent a lot of time thinking about, designing and building the right\u00a0environment<\/em>\u00a0for each of our properties. Because we want that environment to be perfect for each of our tenants, whoever they are and however long they stay for.<\/p>\n

In a similar way we\u2019ve started thinking about\u00a0the<\/em>\u00a0Environment. Climate change is upon us and we\u2019d like to make sure that we are genuinely and authentically playing our part where we can, especially given that in the UK somewhere in the region of 40% of carbon emissions come from our homes.<\/p>\n

So we are delighted to have partnered with\u00a0JUST ONE Tree<\/a>, who are planting one new tree for each new tenant we welcome into one of our houses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>

JUST ONE Tree<\/a> is a non-profit initiative removing CO2 from the atmosphere and reversing biodiversity loss through global reforestation. They plant trees in areas severely affected by deforestation to\u00a0maximise\u00a0the effect on reducing global warming. In the process they help to provide agricultural education and sustainable incomes to local communities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div>

But they don\u2019t stop there. JUST ONE Tree concentrates on restoring the entire ecosystem by planting on land and in the oceans, and they also focus on helping to shape the next generation of planet-conscious thinkers by bringing environmental education into the classrooms\u00a0with lesson plans and JUST ONE Tree Day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>
