In some of our properties we make a small charge for the use of the tumble dryer, just to regulate the usage and be environmentally friendly! Please note that the TV license applies for the communal Smart TV only. If you would like a TV in your own room you will need a separate TV license.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-26452\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse26452\" aria-controls=\"collapse26452\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> How do I apply for a room?<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse \" id=\"collapse26452\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-2645\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"ea-header-26452\"> <div class=\"ea-body\"><p>Check the <a href=\"http:\/\/kudosliving.net\/index.php\/availability\/\">availability<\/a> of our rooms on our website. You can request a viewing for any available rooms directly from the site. Alternatively just fill in the <a href=\"http:\/\/kudosliving.net\/index.php\/contact\/\">Contact Form<\/a> to get in touch and let us know that you\u2019re interested in one of our rooms, or call us directly on 07587 413006.<\/p><p>After the viewing, if we\u2019re all happy to proceed then we\u2019ll ask you to sign a holding deposit agreement and to pay a holding deposit of \u00a3100 to secure your room, pending the outcome of a tenant screening process. We\u2019ll then take up references and collect some basic ID information from you, and we partner with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tenantscreening.co.uk\/\">Tenant Screening Ltd<\/a> to screen our tenants.<\/p><p>We use <a href=\"https:\/\/coho.life\/\">COHO property management software<\/a> to streamline the process of viewings, applications and compliance with all the relevant lettings legislation. If you do need to leave before the end of the six month minimum term then you will usually be asked to pay the additional marketing costs and to cover the rent until a replacement tenant has been found and moved in. Each room comes with the following:<\/p><ul><li>4ft double bed, some of which are Ottomans, and all of which have lots of storage space beneath<\/li><li>Comfortable Pocket-sprung mattress<\/li><li>Wardrobe<\/li><li>Chest of drawers<\/li><li>Bedside table (or occasionally an additional small chest of drawers)<\/li><li>Chair<\/li><li>Carpets and curtains or blinds<\/li><li>Clothes airer for drying clothes<\/li><\/ul><p>Most of our rooms also come with a desk, and with TV aerial socket and Cat 6 ethernet cable sockets located nearby. We work hard to ensure that the housemates all get on well with each other, which is why we like to get to know our prospective tenants well as part of the application process.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-264510\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse264510\" aria-controls=\"collapse264510\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> How eco-friendly are your houses?<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse \" id=\"collapse264510\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-2645\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"ea-header-264510\"> <div class=\"ea-body\"><p>We love the environment! And we hope you do, too. We have taken the following steps to try and minimise our ecological footprint:<\/p><ul><li>We have made significant improvements to the insulation in the houses to ensure we reduce the amount of thermal energy lost<\/li><li>The kitchens in two of our properties were sourced from Milestone Design Ltd, Britain\u2019s first producer of totally green recycled kitchens<\/li><li>We have recycling bins in the properties and encourage our housemates to ensure that what can be recycled is recycled!<\/li><li>We charge a small amount for the use of the tumble dryers. We do this not to make money from it, but to regulate the use of the machines, and encourage housemates to use full loads, for example, rather than to make an impact on the environment needlessly just washing their smalls!<\/li><li>We provide drying airers for each room, to encourage minimal use of tumble dryers, and we provide an outdoors 'whirligig' to allow you to dry your washing outside on those warmer, drier days<\/li><li>At our Daggsdell Road property we installed an Air Source Heat Pump which will more than half our annual energy consumption.\u00a0Carbon Dioxide emissions are expected to be reduced by 80% in comparison with gas boiler emissions.<\/li><li>Tumble dryers, where we have them, are heat pump dryers, the most energy-efficient variety available.<\/li><li>We have installed solar panels at three of our properties \u2013a big win for the planet!<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-264511\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse264511\" aria-controls=\"collapse264511\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> What is your privacy policy?<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse \" id=\"collapse264511\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-2645\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"ea-header-264511\"> <div class=\"ea-body\"><p>Here at Kudos Living Ltd we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information in relation to processing your tenancy and providing the services you have requested from us in managing your tenancy.
